I added the following code after changing some of my internal links, that where pointing to index files, to now point to directories:

RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} ^[A-Z]{3,9}\ /([^/]*/)*index\.(html?Šphp)\ HTTP/
RewriteRule ^(([^/]*/)*)index\.(html?Šphp)$ [www\.example\.com...] [R=301,L]

I knew that I would have to wait for the Page Ranks of these pages to move with the change.

My question is, why is the Page Rank for all of the affected pages showing up some of the time and then not showing up some of the time? Either all of the affected pages' Page Ranks show up or non of the affected Page Ranks show up. This has been going back and forth for days. What is causing this and will the Page Ranks eventually stay all of the time?

Not all of the datacentres have all of the latest PR update installed.

Matt Cutts mentioned several weeks ago that it would take at least several weeks to finish.
