I've noticed that my real estate sites for the US rank much higher in canada then on the us search. I am on the 1st page in canada and 10th page in us.
can anyone explain this? It happens with many of my sites
2 page in canada 50th page us.
Does google discriminate good sites in the us and not in canada?

I have a similar issue, site ranks better on google.com than on google.co.uk

Are a lot of your links from .ca hosted sites?
Where is your site hosted?
What is the TLD od your domain?

There's something at play here, need to figure it out!

Same problem here,

Site hosted in US a .com domain, on google.ca site is on first page for most keywords on google.com second page or less.

Garya: Where is your physical location? are you located in the US?

You absolutely sure that your US hosting company doesn’t have Canadian based servers. I've had this problem, in reverse, in the past with a Canadian hosting company that changed servers from Canada to just across the border and failed to advise their customers. My .com site, aimed at the Canadian market sunk like a stone. I don’t think they even realised the consequences.

How old are your inbound links?

Have you done link building recently?
