Old cache files now replacing those that I asked to be removed

I have a question. I contacted google to remove some cache files with my username (the one I used to use for everything a long time ago) and they did. For about two weeks when I would do a search for my username, every cache file I knew about was gone. About a week later I noticed more new cache files came up, but when I looked at the date that google crawled the site - it says Feb 2006 or around that time.

So my question is - why would they start putting up cache files that they had taken a snapshot of in Feb 2006 now after they weren't there before? I have to keep writing them and requesting to remove every new one that comes up!

Thanks.

Hello bamboo, and welcome to the forums.

Did you use the Removal Tool? If so, what does it show for the status of your request? On the face of it, this sounds like an error on Google's side.

If they remove the cache for the normal index entries, then I think that the cache for any pages that are also Supplemental Results, then show up in their place... and I am not sure that those can be removed.
