Every five minutes an IP from the google.com domain pings my server

I am just looking through the logs for the default domain on my server and I can see every 5 minutes a request for default.asp coming from an IP belonging to Google. The request comes from with a user agent +ipmonitor+7.1.
Strange thing is I don't have a site on the default domain on this server (I have many domains on this server, but none using the default).
