There is a image update on, there where also a little testing a week or 2 ago, but now it seems a little more action is happening.

About Safesearch - we agree google can not see images, so how are they filtering is it the text on the page or text themed around the site, be cause I saw today on 276 are shown with filter and before update 6600 with filter, if I set filter off now there is 8000 pictures, I agree i have, hmm about 300 pictures thats is a a little lets say baywatch style, but no nudity, so how do they filter.

I can say some of the comments to the images are a little for the americans, but I have for 2 weeks ago place a word filter so different words dont show more then f***, now the question is IF this was the problem that trigered the filter, when will i get back next update or next spidering, be cause its a filter no software update.

thats it

Im sorry to reply again, but is ther no one here that can help, im in trouble here, 80% of my listing in google image is gone with this update, but its filtered by safesearch, i have no nude stuff, but I do have visitors comments which can be a little hard for americans, but I have now created a spam filter so example words will look like fu** in the comments, but when will i get back, first in the next update or does the safesearch change after the next google crawl.

I can't tell you for sure, because I just don't know.

But a few weeks ago there were some publicized cases of extreme adult images showing up for simple product searches, even with SafeSearch on. This is definitely a guess, but Google may have tightened up on the filters a lot to handle that faux pas.

tedster, yes but we do agree that they only look at text, in title body and links out right. Its complicated be cause of this filter why dont they tell us what not to do in this situation, it has nothing to do with ranking.
