Great links, content, pages index - no ranky!

So.. My site's been up over a year, and has grown to over 200 pages of relevant, well seo'd content. Have great links from several trusted, authority sites, and a couple of really nice, relevant .edu links from pretty high PR pages. I'm showing up #1 in MSN and #26 in Yahoo for my top term, yet I do not show at all in Google.

Most of the content was added in the last two months and most of the good links were picked up in the same period.

My question is, what's the real deal with this aging delay/sandbox/filters thing? I'm showing in Google for some seemingly very random keyword strings (as I can tell via sitemaps), but not for ANY of the higher traffic phrases for which I show well in the other SE's.

Worse, and probably a source of explanation, is the fact that Google has indexed NO links to my site, while Yahoo and MSN have picked up around 25-50 each. Like I said, I don't have many links, but they're good ones, and they help me rank well in MSN and Yahoo, but not Google.

About 15 of my 200 pages have been indexed (which I expected) and my home page has a PR of 2 (if that matters...)

Can someone shed some light on my situation? Why is google not picking up the backlinks? Help?

Google is picking up the links probably - they just aren't showing them. It's not uncommon.

Give it time - you will rank. Especially if you have decent links.

Sure, I can shed light on your situation. High traffic keywords shouldn't be that easy. Do a site search for long-tail.
