Live dialogue product introduces frames - can that hurt my rankings?

I have a site that ranks well for several keyword phrases I care about. I just tried out <a live dialogue> package for interacting with site visitors.

My concern is that it does it's magic by wrapping your site in a frame set. This messes with the user's back button sometimes and of course, shows the search engines the usual top level frame document which has minimal content. I am concerned that using the tool would confuse Google and perhaps other search engines, and seriously damage my current rankings.

Has anybody here used <a product like this> and can answer this question? If not, has anybody that enjoyed good rankings on a non-frameset site, suddenly switched to a frameset site? If so, what happened to your rankings?

Thanks.
