Same results at Google and Yahoo

Why show the two giants such similar results?

Since that June, July, August update our main site has lost all traffic from Google despite loads of good inbound links and vast quality content.

At the same time some of our minor sites with tons of sold outbound links have reached better listings than the large and established content site.

Exactly the same has happened at yahoo where before also many No.1 pages had displayd our rich content urls.

If that similarity is widely happening with two out from the three leading search giants it will be like a serious control on what billions will find on the Internet in these days?
