Would I gain any benefit for this kind of linkage? Would google crawl it and end up at my site. Would it count as a link in the site: search in Google and do you think the PR would be enhanced?

If all the 'example.co.uk' in the your example are the same domain - your domain - then you may get spidered. But I suspect you have
http:// ads.bannercompany.co.uk/event.ng/ ...
... Redirect= www.advertiser.co.uk Freferer%3Daffiliate.co.uk
Which is not a direct link to you, and therefore will not help your site in SEO terms, though, of course, it may get you visitors :)
