About 3 months ago I decided to put Google Free web search on my site.
What I wanted to be searched is www.example.com/forum/

When I pasted the code to my website I noticed that it doesn't work. It works on my second page which is very similar to new one (but not the same: no duplicate content).

So I checked whether the site is in Google index. When I put this query: site:www.example.com into the Google.com I see many pages indexed. There are even pages with www.example.com/forum/ (not to many).

When I put this query: site:www.example.com/forum/ it doesn't show any results at all. Why? There are some pages in Google index with: www.example.com/forum/.

Because there is no site by the name of www.example.com/forum/ the "site" is example.com .

Site is really misnamed, it is more like (subdomain.)domain .
