Does Google penalise a capitalised title?

Are 'blue widget' and 'BLUE WIDGET' treated the same?

Does Google differentiate between capitalised and non-capitalised titles? The reason I ask is that on some searches a capitalised title clearly stands out. In my industry there are no capitalised titles on the first page but a quick test with Dreamweaver shows that capitalisation of your main keyword clearly stands out.

We sell BLUE WIDGETS

We sell Blue Widgets

.. Or is capitalisation viewed as spammy, and thus likely to deter potential visitors?

I haven't noticed any specific penalties for this practice. That said, using words in all caps may make your title "stand out" but not in a way that the searcher feels is good or attractive.

I had thought of capitalising only the main keywords: 'BLUE WIDGETS from the leading widget company in widgetville' for example.

I might just test it and report back if successful.
