No Backlinks - What Happened?

Did the current update delete backlinks?

Hey Guys:

I have a quick question for those who have been following the recent update.

My site was showing about 10 backlinks BEFORE the update now I show NONE.

Some of the backlinks were from authority sites like DMOZ, G-DIR, Y-DIR...

Does anyone have any insight?

Thanks in advance!

Try to check your backlinks on this DC

Thank you!

Is this the new G Magic Show?

I do see backlinks there... but is this the DC that is still coming... being updated...

I usually have a good handle on this but this update has me a little confused.

Thanks!

I've seen a number of reports in the past two days about [link:] searches giving no results, even when there are tens of thousands of known backlinks. Since the Google [link:] operator is pretty much for "entertainment purposes only", I have just assumed that the recent refreshes have been a bit buggy and will get sorted out sooner or later.

Both PR and backlink "updates" from Google are pretty much non-events. As I see it, if what you see is not impacting on your rankings -- and even more, on your TRAFFIC -- then it's not worth any concern.

I wouldn't trust any Google operators at this time to be honest until they fix the recent operator issues.
