Hi,

I don't know if anyone has seen Google's accessible search facility:

[googlesyndicatedsearch.com...]

I just came across it today...the good news is that we are top for every search term I can think of...if only that were the case in the real serps!

It got me thinking... how is the accessible algo different to the main algo? is it just that things like alt tags are correct etc or is it radically different?

Anyone brighter than me care to speculate?

thanks

Marra

Sites that are not accessible are not in it.

I looked at a friends accessible site, and he goes from #20 to #3 in this.

The competition have a lot of work to do to their sites.

I think the correct URL is

[labs.google.com...]

It does a reasonable job but anyone familiar with creating accessible websites will know that there are many factors that have to be hand reviewed, not something that Google is keen on. It's a googd start though.
