I'm not a techie or webmaster by any means, but I launched by business and site in January and within 3 months was appearing on first page of google. Round about that time I launched a dedicated site to an aspect of my business and it didn't take long until that also was all over the search engines. In the last few days my dedicated site placement has slipped and now when I do a google search using the UK web sites option I don't appear, but I still do on the regular search although not as prominent.

I was stupid and yes I spammed even though I knew it was wrong and always meant to remove the unnecerssary garbage,I noticed a few competitors established before me were doing the same thing. I checked one of their sites yesterday and it's all cleaned up now which means they new this was comming? At one point I over took all of them and now I see some of them creeping back, many I noticed had actually bought adwords. I've noticed a slip once, for a week or so but I came back. Do you think that is whats happening or is this it for me? I've cleaned the site up and will be working on it today and doing the same thing on my other sites to stop anything happening to its ranking.

One other thing last night I submitted <www.exampleco.com> which is parked/directed to< www.examplecompany.com> Was that a dumb thing to do. What can I do about getting un banned if I have been banned. I don't understand the jargon I read here and have enough to do with my business so can't get techie.

In order to understand the situation, could you be more specific about this?

There's nothing we can do here because you can't post a URL.

Try an appropriate Usenet newsgroup.
