Different results from google.com & 72.14.253.104?

howdy all,

How can it be that when i do a search via www.google.com i show up #11 for my KW, but i do the same search via the IP address (by scrolling over the link that says 'cached'), type in 72.14.253.104 (the same google dc that i'm looking at right?) and then i show up #6.

When i use <an online tool> which searches by IP, i show up #6 across the board. Only when i type out google.com do i show up on page 2. Any ideas why this happens?

The IP of the cache page listed in a search result is NOT necessarily the IP that delivered those results. To know for sure which IP delivered those results to you, you need to be running an application that actually shows you the responding IP address -- the FireFox extension "ShowIP" for example.
