Google removal tool for Supplemental Listings

is there a trick or why doesn´t it work?

I used the tool a few weeks ago as there were 4 to 5 supplemental listings when doing the site: search. I got a mail two days later stating that the job was done. In the tool it says "completed" instead of "pending". But when I check the all the datacenters all of the "removed" listings are still there. is there a trick?

You cannot remove Supplemental Results.

In any case the removal tool only "hides" what it removes for 6 months and then they all reappear in the index as if nothing had happened.

Read all that I wrote in [webmasterworld.com...] to understand what supplemental results are, why they appear, the fact that there are several types of Supplemental Results, and that some types can be safely ignored.
