Google Image Search

Did they Ruin it or What?

Was researching the image search, knew it had changed when they updated it a few months ago and figured they might fix it later, but was astonished at just how bad it's become.

Looks like a dependence on surrounding text is causing irrelevant results to pop up.

The results seem fine to me, although I don't use it that much.

Have you tried the new live.com image search yet?

I had not heard of live.com, however went to check it out and hey, the images are very relevant and my site is actually coming up where I was coming up in Google before this latest crap! Awesome!

How does everyone else feel about this search engine? Think it will catch on?

Actually, the live.com image search seems quite good. A bit too clever for its own good, but basically fine.
