Am I at risk for dup penalty?

Somebody copied most of homepage content

Another site posted a large portion of the content from my homepage. I have the internal nav and external links on the left- and right-hand sides of the page, with the actual content in the center column.

Another site has posted 80-90% of the content in a forum as an entry. They took what I had, leaving the original links to images in place, but substituted "'" for apostrophies. Otherwise it's a direct cpoy-and-paste. I don't mind that they didn't link back to my site and it is decidedly NOT a scraper-style site, but I am concerned.

Could G get confused and hit ME with a duplicate content penalty because my content appears on another site?

Only if you link back to that forum page from your homepage.

I would try to get the other site to remove it. If its your content it is protected under the dmca.
