url with a "+" symbol is losing pagerank. is this new?

I noticed a few of our urls that are linked to from our homepage lost toolbar pagerank. the url was something like domain.com/something/blue+red/category=1
Currently the 0 pagerank page still shows #1 in google but is it just a matter of time till it leaves?
