These are questions for people that are experiencing major changes with Google on June 27th, July 27th, and Aug, 17th. I thought maybe if we had some specific question and answers maybe we would be able to find a connection with the sites that took hits on these dates. If anyone can think of some more relevant questions please ask them.

1) Is your site dynamic?

2) Did you have duplicate content?

3) Do you have many link backs?

4) Does your site have new content added often?

5) How long has your site been online?

6) Is you site highly optimized for SE?

7) For site: command is your site showing mainly supplimentals first?

I guess I will go first.

1) Is your site dynamic?

yes

2) Did you have duplicate content?

no

3) Do you have many link backs?

Over 3000

4) Does your site have new content added often?

Every three days 50% of the pages have new content

5) How long has your site been online?

since 1997

6) Is you site highly optimized for SE?

not really I do have some pages that have purposeful keywords but no more then four of each on one page.

7) For site: command is your site showing mainly supplemental first?

During the June 27th drop my index and main pages were all buried under thousands of supplemental pages. It was corrected on July 27th. Then on Aug. 17th my index and two other main pages are still first but after that it is all supplemental.

OK, we manage a variety of sites (clients and our own) but I will use one core established site and comment as needed

1) Is your site dynamic? Yes
2) Did you have duplicate content? No
3) Do you have many link backs? Medium
4) Does your site have new content added often? Yes at least a few times/week
5) How long has your site been online? 2002
6) Is you site highly optimized for SE? Yes
7) For site: command is your site showing mainly supplementals first? No – There are supps later in the results (page 3) and are dead or 301’d pages. Including the ‘omitted’ results returns good results completely

I haven’t checked ALL of our client’s sites for SUPP problems, but of the 4 I have things are normal with them (and our methods for the moment I would assume)
