Hello I dont know what is going now, but since last week when I performed a

site:mydomain.com

I had 3.100 indexed pages

Then, next day, a boost, when I type same command now my results vary a lot but never show old 3k serps

Now i'm getting

16k
20k
30k

even once i saw almost 100k which is pretty good because i've been working with some small SEO for my website

Why are these serps changing? why the fluctuation? what is it going on?

Thx in advanced.

Jacob.

System: The following message was spliced on to this thread from: http://www.webmasterworld.com/google/3066822.htm [webmasterworld.com] by tedster - 2:23 am on Aug. 31, 2006 (EDT -4)

whenever I search google to see how many pages from my site is indexed I see a different result in every 15 seconds. The more interesting thing is everytime the total number of results goes down and down and after an hour of constantly going down it restores the files.

I have got over a million pages on my site and Google is eating my bandwidth like a hungry demon but it is not putting any page into it's index.

I have never spammed, never placed a link and my pages have unique content. What could possibly go wrong? Kindly advice.

Hi thanks for your responde, yes but this is the first time that I see this fluctuation issue. Now I have tested "site:#*$!" with some other sites and they do not fluctuate

Jacob.
