Google base affecting SERPS?

Does anyone else have a nagging doubt that adding their listings to GoogleBase has actually caused their site to drop in SERPS?

A few months ago i started adding all my listings to base and within a few weeks my main home page dropped 300 places in SERPS.

A couple of weeks ago my base-feed went wrong, and i had no listings on base, but my home page rose in SERPS again.

Now I have added all the listings back to base, and await the outcome...

Anyone else see anything like this, or is it just a coincidence?

We have been on googlebase for a while, we have not noticed anything as far as a drop.
