Google Sitemaps no longer Beta?

Guess they feel it's ready for Prime Time.

From the very beginning Google and Google spokespeople have been staunch, stalwart, and totally on-message about their confidence in Google Sitemaps.

The final avowal seems to be the dropping of the word BETA from all but a small screenshot of the old Sitemaps home page.

Did they make a formal announcement?
