I have been having problems with Google for almost one year.

Every issue, we have/had it...canonicals, supplementals, scrapers/duplicate content.

Our index page has been the only page of our 50 page site indexed for several months.

I submitted to sitemaps to see if this would help us rebound and/or get some info as to what is going on with our site not being listed.

The sitemap report came back fine, reporting positive info for the one page we have listed. However, the sitemaps gave us no info or clue as to why only our index page is listed.

But now....our index page is not even listed anymore even though sitemaps says it is.

Any input?

textex- there is so much strange behaviour on google's part lately, that it is hard to tell for sure. Seems to be a lot of talk about the robots.txt file lately. Did you check yours in the sitemaps?

Have you checked on all the datacenters to see whether your index page is still indexed on any of them?

Another question. Are the rest 49 pages located within subdirectories on your site?

Hi,

I need to disallow all pages in my home directory as well as all sub directories. I know how to disallow all the subdirectories by using the following

User-Agent: *
Disallow: /subdirectory_folder_name/

But I don't know what to enter so that all pages in home directory gets disallow except for my index.html file

I can't seem to find this info
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

About 20 of the pages are in a different directory.

I checked everything in the sitempas. there was nothing about robots.txt.
