Hello there!

I desperately need some piece of advice. The point is that our site is no longer included in google search results. It happened yesterday. Previously we had problems with hosting and as a result our site disappeared for four days. Now our site has come back, though, it doesn't occupy the first place in Google search results.

I deem that this problem is caused by the disappearance of our site. Can it be really so? What should we do to cure the situation?

I'm not a webmaster and I want to hear your professional opinion.

If you read around you'll find that sites are disappearing everyday, some return but most do not, you are in the same boat as most of us!

You almost certainly deem wrongly. Other factors like age of site, on-page factors and what the rivals are doing, as well as what Google is doing, are all much more likely.

But there's plenty of harm a bad host can do. If you have a bad host, go get a good one - shop around, review your hosting needs and fix it.

First of all is the site per chance:

www.example.com?

The name has been changed to meet forum TOS.

If so you might want to make use of Google's Webmaster Central facilities to tell them that www.example.com and example.com are the same site.

Looking at that site I see a number of supplemental results one of which is the non www version of your homepage if I guessed the site correctly.

Since you can't provide any information such as keywords, placement and the url of the placing page on the forum it is hard to say much.

Folks here will tell you that being high in Google SERPS today has no bearing on where you'll be tomorrow and they are correct.

BTW, you have sticky mail

WebmasterWorld was taken offline for nearly two weeks because of a hosting problem. It came back.
