Cross Linking 2 Domains of Same Object

I do own 2 travel sites with the same object but in different languages.

One site is about 3 years old and does have PR4..0 on it's pages.

The other site is about 1 year old and does have PR1..0 and does not have many pages.

What do you think about cross linking articles from one site to the other? I would write an articel in both sites, of course in different languages and then cross link them.

a) Should I cross link? Will it help? Will it hurt?
b) Should I cross link every article a<-->b?
c) Should I cross link some articles from a-->b and some others from b-->a?

Both domains are not on the same c-class, but very close to each other.

play it safe and do not do it. Some may get way with it, but you may not and it's not worth.
