Hi everyone, I hope this is the right place to post this...for a while now my home page is a PR0 but my <internal> pages are PR4+ - can anyone shed some insight as to why this is? I am at a loss! Thanks in advance, and again, I am pumped to have found you guys!

Matt

here are the pages in question:

Welcome to Webmasterworld - undoubtably trhe best forum on the web types!

Recently Google updated internal pages but not home page PR - a sort of half an update, if you like.

Dont worry - it'll soon normalise - if that's the correct word.

I take it you have no fancy redirects on your home page.

I noticed recently Google did not assign PR to one of my URLs as I dynamically redirected my home page regularily on this site using index.PHP. Internal pages were ok, though.

Try looking at how your PR flows between the pages on your web site. It may be to do with how your internal links work

I've noticed nearly the same thing. we have one deep sub page .. not linked to but from one sub page on our site that has a higher pr rank than any other sub page. Interestingly enough it's the only page on our site that does have adsense ads on it and it's just a small links page that gets very very little traffic.

I had the opposite happen on one of my sites. My homepage is PR5 (as it was), but almost all of my internal pages went to PR0 recently. Just an effect of the recent "half update", or might I have possibly angered the Googlebot? (I have made changes regularly, but this loss of PR happened all at once.)

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I am still at a loss - I have started many other sites, with up to a PR4 on the home page but still nothing on my site. It's so frustrating! :)

Anyone else have thoughts?

thanks and I am back on now (found my password and got a second to breath from all the work I am doing!)

:)
