Does changing site ownership hurt ranking?

If I sell my site, will it drop in the SERPS when the new owner's registration information is swapped for my registration info?

Another question on the same lines. A site is registered under my personal name. If I startup a holding company and change official ownership of the site to the holding company's name and/or address, will that look like an onwership change and hurt my search engine results?

Thanks in advance.

Almost a year ago I changed the ownership of my websites to my holding company, but the street address stayed the same. It had no influence at all on the serps.

Ditto .... have had clients buy existing sites only because they had page 1 serps --- reworked them slowly with the updates to the "new" product (similar of course to the original) and smooth sailing

Thank you good people.

Perhaps I'll change the address first, then change the name later.

Or I could change the name first, and then change the address later.

I'm a little paranoid sometimes. But I simply can't afford to lose page 1 over something like this.

Thanks again.

Any and all opinions welcome.
