My site suffered at the June 27 Google shuffle. I was #1 for 1 1/2 years and after that stayed high on page 1 for another couple of years. However, after the June 27 shuffle I got banished to page 9 and have worked my way (with much effort) to page 8.

I am beggining to feel that this is because my site was hacked into with <many off-topic> pages in February and I didn't find out until about April or May.

So, even though I got rid of these files, When I did my Google sitemap, I saw that there are over 90 files not found that refer to these sites. If so, can you remind me where I find the place to remove urls?

What is the best thing to do to get back in the good graces of Google? Do I go and remove these urls? I'm not sure where my site is being linked from, so I imagine there will still be searches for these files.

Please help me--my busines has really suffered since June 27. I'm sure a lot of you know what I mean because I've read many posts where the sales have suffered. In the meantime, I've been building more pages to have more internal links.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

My url is <edited>

Lots of sites where killed on the 27th for (presumably) a multitude of reasons. I'm not aware of a solution to the problem.

This sounds like a candidate for a re-inclusion request to me -- right from your Sitemaps account. Describe what went wrong, just as you did here, and what you've done to fix it.

my site was also killed on 27th of june, i lost 95% of google traffic, but recovered along with many others on july 27th, exactly 30 days after.

i'd say a reinclusion request is in order.
