They have added some stuff to google sitemaps
I like how they can display either example.com or www.example.com depending on your selection.
Theres also an option to set the crawl rate, but it appears that link is broken since it seems to display
The requested URL /webmasters/sitemaps/crawlrate was not found on this server.

I like where they are heading with this.

I just saw this in the Sitemaps diagnostic. Anyone know when this was added and is this an indication that Google is not reading 301's correctly? It seems many people that have had 301's in place in the last couple months have had problems.

Can you please add or confirm if the 301 problems relate only to canonical domain issues or do the problems extend to pointing alias domains to the same physical server as well?

Thanks

Hmm, OK so since I'm having cannonical issues I decided to give it a try, it added the non www version as well as the www version to the " My sites" page, before it was with the www only (my prefered for that site)

Tried it for another site in there.. same thing, now 2 listings for it.

Is this happening to everyone or is it a problem...
has me a bit worried.

The stats are different for them as well. Although I did notice that with the site that is mostly OK, the searches shown for the non www sitemap still show with the www in the serp... a bit peculiar.

I believe they show the second url so that you can verify that you own that one as well.

Yeah, I think so to now. I just found the other thread about this and GoogleGuy mentions that.

*Whew* scared me though.
