How long does Google remember content?

Since Google likes fresh content, is this a good or bad idea:

What if I had 4 versions of my index page? Each version is unique but similar. All are optimized for the same keyword. I will not change the page title.

If I rotate these on a weekly basis, will Google consider it "new" content each week? Or will Google remember that it has seen the same exact content 4 weeks ago?

I think this will keep my site looking fresh and it may help with Google seeing the page as being updated often.

I would appreciate any thoughts on this.

I keep index pages fresh at least monthly. In reality the content is 95% the same all the time, but at least there is a fresh date.
