Is a 302 redirect ok if it comes from the Yahoo Directory?

Not sure if Google will penalize us or not.

I noticed today that Yahoo has a link to another one of our sites in it's wedding directory.

When I test the link to our site with a header checking tool, I notice they are linking to us with a 302 Redirect. I know this is typically bad from loser sites, but does Google still penalize us if it's from the Yahoo Directory?

Forgot to mention, the directory page on Yahoo that the link to our site is located on has a PR=7.

Check the status code using HTTP/1.1 to be sure that it really is a 302 redirect.

yes, it really is a 302 redirect, that is what I said, we used a reliable tool to verify the redirect is a 302, it shows the 302 first, then it shows the server spitting out the 200 once it is redirected to the main page.

Can you change it to a 301? If you can not, I would not worry about it much.

no you cannot change it, because Yahoo implements the link as a 302, so the apace server sees it as a 302.

I would not worry about it then. If it has good pr it should not hurt.
