Domain Expired?

Hi Guys, my domain expired on Friday 14 July ... and we renewed it back on Monday. Our front page has vanished from google and our google sitemaps tell us that 'Domain name not found'

We have renewed our domain on Monday - but our website is still not back up yet. Will have our domain be back in google? and will we have the same ranking again in the serps?

Did you check your domain name server addresses? If they no longer point to where you have the site hosted, then people won't be able to locate the site.

the site is running fine, and its with the same hosting company.

what i meant was the sites not back up on google. our other pages are indexed from google just not our front page - its missing.

Possibly gbot tried crawling while it was down... you may have to wait a bit.

How long will probably depend on how often your site was crawled by gbot to begin with. Some of my sites get crawled daily, some a couple times a month. And even a visit doesn't mean an immediate update in the serps. Hopefully you will get straightened out sooner rather then later.
