I have a website with a nice PR6 at the moment. I'm thinking of adding 500 articles to my site from an article bank.
Problem is...that would be 500 links OUT of my website.
Would that affect my PR?
Cheers

If linking to the articles is relevant to your site, it should add some value. Forget about PR.

It depends on wich one of your pages has that PR and if the links would start from it. If outbound links start from it than you could leake a few of your PR, not relevant, though.

Actually my index page has a PR6, but the pages that the articles with outbound links will lie on PR0 for the most since my site is new and the PR hasn't been distributed yet
Also, some articles simply link to the author while some link to the author AND the article bank source, doubling the amount of outbound links...would that make a difference?
Thanks

Oimachi2 - First, you're asking the wrong questions.
Will those 500 articles, all dupe content, actually help your site?
And, what is PageRank, at its core, all about? What is the PR on your site all about? What is Toolbar PR all about?
