For many months, clicking the cache links in search results has been hit and miss but now it's getting really silly...

I've been doing some research on a new type of spectacle frame, trying to find if there's a downside. Many times the keywords were not on the page so I went back and viewed the cache. I found two bizarre bugs...

1) Despite the fact that the keywords appear (highlighted) in the snippets, often they don't appear in the cached page.
2) Even if the keywords do appear in the cached page, often they are not highlighted because, according to the statement at the top, they only appear in links pointing to the page.

You could argue that bug 1 could occur due to synchronization problems but I've seen it on cached pages many months old so that's a very poor excuse.

Bug 2 is a bug pure and simple without any possibility of an excuse.

Google profits may be up and its name may be synonymous with internet search, but at this rate, its name will become synonymous with bugs.
