Hi All,

We have a high ranking directoy site thats been with google for over 3 years+.

We were having great search results until today when for some reason - our front page is no longer visible within google. Some of our other pages are showing up. So im not sure that we have been banned. Im pretty sure we have done nothing against googles guide lines.

Our page rank is still visible, including our back links and when we do a site:www.domain.com search.

The only thing I can think of is our domain had expired last week - and our website was down for 24-48 hours until we could renew the domain name.

When I added a google site map in under the web crawl stats - it shows 'domain not found' messages.

I submitted a re-inclusion request to google stating the above to them.

My questions are - will we be re-included?
Did we get removed because of our domain expiring?
If we get back re-included in google, will we still have the same search rankings?

Thanks Guys :)

The same issue happened with us about a month ago. All in all it took about 3 weeks to be added again to the index. Add to that the sheer issues going on with DC's etc and you could be looking at longer.
