Uncached Pages on Third Party Sites

Slap my wrists if you feel you have to, but...

Conducting a linkdomain:www.example.com reveals plenty of inbound links on pages from third party websites that are not yet cached by Google.

Would it be bad of me to link to these external pages so that they are indexed, and then remove the link when they've been cached, in order to, ahem, assist Google in finding the inbound links?

You might want to watch that because a lot of people use the nofollow tag. My advice, if you want a page indexed put link from your home page to the page you want indexed.
