Does anyone know if the site command total number of pages, also include supplementals?

I am trying to understand how many supplementals I actually have. We have an eComerce site and have recently seen an increasing number of our product pages go supplemental, but at this stage am not sure how many.

For sites with less than 1000 pages I can confirm that it includes all "normal" pages, and those marked as supplemental because they are duplicates or are pages that no longer exist.

Be aware that for every page in the normal index, Google also keeps a copy of the previous version of that page in the Supplemental index, to show when you use a search query that matches that older content.

For sites with more than 1000 pages, Google has often miscounted. I have no idea whether that has been fixed, or changed in any way, in recent times.

You may like to try a search of the form

site:www.example.com -inurl:www.example.com

In most cases this will list Supplemental pages only, or more correctly Supplemental pages not duplicated in main index, but be aware results may not be reliable.

Try:
site:www.yourdomain intext:"*"

This should list all supplemental pages.
