E-Commerce Products and Duplicates

Blue Widgets, Red Widgets, Pink Widgets , Duplicate pages to G?

I have an e-commerce site that's been doing great prior to June 27th "update" in terms of SERPS.
Though i see certain keywords back in SERPS, however i still see our PR6 site getting out ranked by PR3 new comers.

My question is for an e-commerce site that sells widgets would having a separate page for each widget color we sell: Pink widgets, Blue widgets and Green widgets , where all pages have much of the same content except for the color description of the widget. Would this be duplicate content in the eye's of G? Could it possibly be a penalty? How would i be able to tell?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

I might have the same problem. One of my Ecommerce sites has completly vanished from Google. Each product has its own page - but many of the products are so simular that I have just copied the text from page to page only the size is different.

Might be the reason my sight is no where to be seen on Google... and I do not know what to do...
