how much time does it need to be pageranked?

Hi, i have a website online for a month now and it was fully spidered by google serveral times... but when i check my pagerank it shows 0. Now, i somewhere read that you get a pagerank even if there's no other websites linking to you. Is this true? or is it 0 cause i have no links to my website yet and i should just wait?

Sometimes you'll get PR1 even if no one links to it but I don't think you'll go much beyond that. It takes between a few weeks to a few months for a page to get a Google PR visible on the toolbar. Other than that PR is being updated all the time, apparently.
