Anyone Make It Out of the Sandbox With Allegra?

The question is simple. All of my sites are still stuck in it. Seems that way for everyone in the niches I'm in.

If you don't believe in the sanbox there are other threads to argue about that, keep it out of this one please.

Now i see results simillar to 216.239.57.105
on 216.239.63.104

IMHO, both these datacenters show much better results for the keywords I monitor.

My sandboxed sites got out yesterday in the 216.239.57.105 datacenter and today I notice that half of the pages (keyword combinations) are back in sandbox.

But what I was seeing yesterday at 216.239.57.105 seems to have switched over to 216.239.63.104 (where my entire sites are again out of sandbox and roaring)

So guys, if you want to check if you sites are outta sandbox, then 216.239.57.105 and 216.239.63.104 are the IPs to watch.

I also noticed a few other sandboxed sites (watching like a hawk, but not owned by me) fall down further on these IPs.

And finally as I mentioned in above post, my sandboxed sites have made it to the main www.google.com site, for now.

update on my previous negative post..after 8 months in the sandbox, I'm now seeing major moves upwards in the SERPs for many of our pages..hope the trend continues.

Interesting that as soon as i put a MSN search site facility on home page G has knocked me back a further 50 places from yesterday, coincidence or maybe not....

Well, I had a strange experience. I was completely out of the sandbox that started Sept. 23rd, ranking in the top 5 once again for many keywords and most of the site's 100 plus pages where showing up on the first two pages so I was pretty happy to see Allegra.

This lasted about a week. I woke up today to discover that I'm back in the sandbox again.

I use this simple test: Pre Sept. 23rd, and for about a week this month if I typed in: [My Unique Biz Name Keyword1 Keyword2] I would be #1. When in the sandbox, when I type these words I'm nowhere to be found. As of today, I'm nowhere to be found again.

I don't even come up for the unique business name this morning. I do see other sites' link pages with a link to my site coming up, but not my site.

What is Google's problem?

I hope so, Roy. I wrote a lot of good content for my site, but it seems like Google is favorite content management sites with little actual text on their pages right now in the keywords I monitor.

I'm OUT OF THE SANDBOX for now with 3 different sites! (besides I have exakt mirrorsites now number 1-4 for competitive keywords) seems the duplicate filter is not in place..

Now on my knees begging that it will hold.. worrysome stories about this out and in from Rollo, so to early to open the champagne, but I've put it in the cold at least...

This situation has to prove once-and-for-all that google is(or has been) penalising new sites. If we see all these sites disappear again then it will only strengthen matters.

It seems MSN's appearance on the search scene has pushed them into action.

Something happened with Google this weekend...my site FINALLY shot up to #4 for my main keywords.

I was wondering what was going on, I had made it up to #3 with MSN and Yahoo and was just waiting to be realeased from the sandbox at google.

My site was launched March '04.

All terms that were mia or buried in the hundreds are out. Page one results on many.

was checking my Google Ranking today for a 8 months old commercial site which was always at page 10 to 20 and surprised to found it ranked at the top 10 for most of my targeted (competitive) Keywords.

Have to ditto those results. Our site pretty much tanked in google serps (for stongest keyphrases)about end of Feb/early March last year (site ranked at page 10+ down from top 10). Now ranking in top ten for all major relevant keywords (about 2mil results).

Interestingly enough...these serps look almost exactly like the results I was getting using the "allinanchor:" for the last few months...

How many search results are we talking about for those people that made it out of the sandbox?

Keyword 1 - 15th out of 5,910,000 results [not in top 1000 before]

Keyword 2 - 10th out of 8,120,000 [not in top 1000 before]

Keyword 3 - 40th out of 17,500,000 [not in top 1000 before]

... and a bunch like that. For mulitudes of keywords, the site appears in top 10 including 1st position for a lot of them. Same for other sites.

This is great news that the sandbox effect may expire in less than 1 year. I certainly hope so.

nahhh...it's all just a massive coincidence...or mass hysteria...somethin' like that ;)

I have a site that has been stuck in the sand since it was launched March 01, 2004. It is now ranking #1 for my main keyword plus city. Finally. It is now also ranking for a HIGHLY competitve term (22,100,000 results) albeit not that well, in the 300 range. But it was not ranking at all before.

Well my main competitor who was agressively doing links is #1 now on some DCs and I am nowhere to be found. Last night I checked all my links and found out I was linking to about 5 pr0s (banned, they would have PR by now since they've been on my link page with a PR3-4 for 3 months). I also found about 3 404s.

I bet linking to all those banned sites pissed google off. Hopefully my site will start to climb to the top, I'm really mad I didn't check this before or I'm certain my site would be at the top right now.

this is fluctuating wildly for a site I have this am it returned at #5 this evening #35!

I think we'll have to wait a while for this update to settle before we start cheering or crying

Finally see one sandboxed I track as out of the sandbox (the oldest one, put online almost a year old). Others are still firmly stuck in the sand (put online in late summer and fall).

... the one is out of the sandbox on some datacenters but not all...

For those that are still in the box but expect that you should be out by now, have you done an allinanchor:keyphrase search and are you still seeing your site ranking for that?

I hope you guys are reading the sister thread on update Allegra where a LOT of people are complaining that their sites have entered the sandbox in this update when they had been ranking well before it...

You can't enter the sandbox if you have already been ranking. That's a change in the algo or site.

I'm still sandboxed... but site is #6 for x 16 3 million keyword money term.

Nothing yet for sites I built this summer, but I'm someone mollified by scoring freebie links from the DMOZ and, of all places, the Discovery Channel this week. I'm crossing my fingers that when that site finally does make it out, it's going to jump to the top. At least the DC is throwing me some traffic, heh.

Sometime late last night my site broke free from the quicksand. Referrals are through the roof! Interesting to note that for super-competitive terms the site is suppressed some but ranking.

Site was suppressed for 10 months!

Just found it interesting, am I a single case here? I am surprised that no one else is posting?
