Hi All, My site is quite old, it is about 4 years old. It has about 4000-5000 pages (I'd like to note that not all the pages are unique). Google and Yahoo have indexed them. But MSN shows only 16 pages. What is the problem I can't find out. If you have the same or similar problem please post here.

I don't have that problem. Not at all in fact, and I think that is because the MSN bot likes freshness.
Make sure that the pages already indexed by MSN bot include new links, new snippets, new content, whatever, and make sure your index page changes regularly as well.

MSN was only indexing about 50-60 of my 4,000 pages of my 4 year old site. In the last 2 weeks that number has suddenly increased to over 1000. Sadly, I don't know why.

Usually, MSN goes after content very quickly. Could there be a possible link navagation error from the index page to the rest of your site? Just guessing at possible causes.

I do agree with you, that most of sites are not indexed by MSN search. My site is also not indexed, and site in now completing its one year. My site has not 4000-5000 pages, it has around 12,000 pages. so think about it that how well MSN doing its job.
