Weird search behavior

There is 1 keyphrase that my site rank very well that receives absolutely no traffic from MSN. This keyphrase gets me tons of traffic from Google and Yahoo though. It seems that for some reason, no one ever search for that keyphrase on MSN.

This problem seems to only happen a few months ago. My site used to receive good traffic from this keyphrase on MSN for over 2 years.

Any idea why this is happening?

Hi Raymond,

I don't have an answer for you but I also have strange results. I am just getting started and have few quality backlinks. I rank nowhere in Google and Yahoo for a particular key phrase but am #5 in MSN. For a similar keyword phrase I am ranked #99. I know it is hard to say similar because each KW phrase is very different but I would expect it to be closer than #99.
Comments from anyone? - Good luck Raymond.

Ensure that the keyword phrase is being shown in all regions. I have been seeing different SERPs in different regions with MSN over the past week. It doesn't effect all queries, only about 30% and I can't determine what the filter factor is on this. It is driving me nuts. This could be the issue. It may just take some patience on this one unfortunately.

Do you know if there is a querystring for MSN search that I can play with to show results of different location?

No query string that I am aware of, just use proxies from different areas of the country on one of your boxes. MSN isn't too smart - at least not yet.
