How often does the MSN spider index sites?

And how long does it take, in general, to get a site onto MSN?

Based on my latest experience with a site that is 11+ months old, 800 pages...

MSN is very quick to pick up new sites. IMHO, even faster than Google. You can also rank quickly in MSN, however as other threads here point out, the SERP tend to value sites with a simple or flat structure.

The spider seems to be quite active, more like Yahoo to me. Spidering pages daily. For me, Google seems to be more active just before and after updates. As far as the results are concerned, the press release I remember seemed to state that the results are updated every two days or so. While that may be true, it seems to me that there has only been one "major" update since the new engine's launch.

msnbot comes around weekly to one of my sites. it indexed the home page and two other pages immediately. four months later, it still hasn't indexed any other page, including links from the home page. i wish i could give it a nudge.

MSN bot seems to be erratic. It picks up new sites quickly, but doesn't seem to like digging any further than the index.

You seeing the same?
