MSN doesn't like me!

Only indexing a fraction of my pages

My site (which is 5 years old) has 8,000 pages of content but for some reason, MSN has only indexed 35 of them. The homepage is freshly indexed almost daily but it doesn't want to index anything else. Seeing as the pages are being indexed on other search engines, can anybody see what the problem might be here?

I've resubmitted the domain. Even though it's already in there, and being refreshed, maybe it'll help.

Well, it's risen to a whopping 37 today. Does the msnbot have problems crawling more than a couple of levels deep?

I have a site about 1 month old now with ~250,000 pages. MSN has spidered about 30,000 pages of it and the index has consistently about 3000 pages behind the number of pages spidered by msn. I must say that msn is much better about gettng pages indexed once spidered. Teoma/AJ on the other hand has spidered 300,000 pages with only the root page indexed.... go figure...

So I guess what I am asking is how many pages has msn actually spidered? I found that addind about 5 random deep links into the site on every page tends to increase spider activity and helps the spiders navigate through the site much more quickly than from strictly following navigation only links.

Well, it's still hanging around the 30's. I'm thinking that MSN doesn't like templates; similar pages with different keywords.
