MSN have put out ads on prime-time UK TV. 2 ads in the same break even.
I don't find their results that bad for a lot of searches so maybe they will score a few converts.

You've seen them? Rats. I want to see the ads, but so far nothing. What part of the country are you in? (incase they are just testing it out on the Scottish borders (No offence Ciml). Maybe I am not watching enough tv these days.

I saw one too, Channel 5 during prime-time. I guess this means they really mean business from now on. It will be interesting to track how much impact this has.
