MSN beta more Google-esk than Google itself?

Serps reflect Google PageRank 1:1

Looking at the MSN beta serps the other day, I noticed that the first matches in my area look as if they are sorted by descending Google PageRank. Is this a coincidence? Is this another hint that the, uh ... how should I put it ... sandbox ... exists?

There isn't even a remote connection to pagerank anywhere I look. Occasionally the top listing will be the top PR page, but the rest of the results won't be ranked that way, and often the top site is PR1 type of keyword domain piffle.

Hmm, must be a coincidence then. Cheers.
