MSNDude,

Is it possible to put the new beta msn search on our sites? I would really like to promote this search engine! I am thoroughly impressed with this new engine and some of the features I have seen today.

Please let us know! I would like to put the new msn search as a banner page on my site to help promote it.

Hi MLHmptn,
Yes, you can add MSN Search to your site.

Instructions are here:
[beta.search.msn.com...]

Also (as a plug for our new release) all of our documentation for webmasters is located at:
[beta.search.msn.com...]

thanks,

MSNDude,

I tried using that code and the image is not showing up nor does it work from an external page. I keep getting this result:

[beta.search.msn.com...]

Is it functional yet?

Let me know...Thanks!

The GIF file they provided does not exist! Try typing it in your browser:

Re: image. The image does not exist. This will be fixed shortly.

With regards to the code page. We need to document this better. In order for this to work you need to insert the Windows Code page that your HTML page uses. For most English pages that will be 1252.

Here are more details on code pages:
[microsoft.com...]

Works like a charm now...Just need that image file :>~

Guess I didn't look at that code too well or realize it required modification.

Thanks MSNDude
