I have a site that has been online for just over 1 year - started doing well on Google last few months and things are starting to pick up (fingers crossed things carry on that way).
Anyway, ever since I started out I did POORLY on MSN search...until last week when I noticed that I had finally gone up in their rankings quite a bit! However, I have been checking the last few days and it is back to how it was a month ago!?!
Is it a case of site back and wait or do you think I am doing something wrong?

It is probably a matter of doing more of the same rather than something you have donw wrong.
As you have probably noticed there is a lot of fluctuations with the search engines, and before you get too worried, patience is the best thing, don't make any drastic changes for 60-90 days, usually, these things have a way of straightening out.
Also, the majority of us get far more traffic from G, so as long as you are getting traffic there, keep on trying to get more, you will not notice a bad ranking in MSN so much.

we never saw it coming as we "follow the rules" and all the while the site in question still ranked very well in google.
