Cold Calls - What a Pain!

How Best to Discourage Persistent Sales Companys?

Well, as anyone with a company and telephone knows, you're gonna get cold calls. That's just the way it works.

However, what do you do when some firm insists on calling several times a day? - I've told Ivana (who usually anwsers the phone) just to hang up and not even engage in the debate any longer but is there anything else we could try?

These annoying little oiks just wont give up.

I beleive singing too them may help, I have a dreadful voice and would not generally inflict it upon anyone...

Actually - a few years ago when I was living in the US, my girlfriend was "gothic" and once at 8 AM some "door-to-door solicitors" knocked on the door, and I answered completely naked - tattoos showing, with a 4 1/2 ft Marilyn Manson concert poster behind me.

They didn't stay very long. :)
